Nu’maan bin Bashir (Radhiya-allahu-‘anhu) narrates that The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”

Green Street Masjid is a focal point for many people in Newham and we provide a community centre space for groups to host regular activities, as well as organising our own events.
These activities include:
- Football sessions every Sunday for the Madrassha students.
- An Information Technology Studio where children can learn vital IT skills.
- Indoor, sports such as table tennis.
- Trips locally and in Europe to visit zoos and theme parks.
- The base for Newham 11th West Islamic Scouts, which it’s hoped will be relaunched soon.
